USA Today votes Thomas Alsop Best Miniseries of 2014

BOOMThe year ended with a bang for the creative team behind Thomas Alsop, when we discovered that USA Today had put the book on their list of best comics of 2014.

Ambitious in scope as well as storytelling, Chris Miskiewicz and Palle Schmidt’s book balances the satirical and supernatural while centering on different eras in the history of New York’s magical caretakers.

Geek Sushi also had Thomas Alsop as their No. 1 choice of “best mini-series of 2014“.

Every once in a while a comic book comes along and punches you in the gut. That is exactly what Chris Miskiewicz and Palle Schmidt have done with Thomas Alsop from BOOM! Studios.

Last but not least, our friends at Bleeding Cool included the final page of issue #2 on their best comic panels of 2014 list.

Thanks for an awesome year. Looking forward to the finale of the book and the release of the first trade paperback. Happy New Year!

I like that Captain Grossheim ref. A true, kind, leader as they go! Look around you… get hold of this, it’s the best of the market!
